One out of every five U.S. federal health care dollars is spent treating people with diabetes.
Diabetes Educators
Diabetes educators are trained to provide disease management and education to people with diabetes. They play a key role in promoting effective self-management and motivating behavior change. The Diabetes Policy Center is working with stakeholders across the State to increase access to self-management and health education services through diabetes educators and other providers.
